Dr. Erica McKinney
Dr. McKinney is a Licensed Psychologist with specialized expertise in reproductive and perinatal mental health, including infertility, pregnancy loss, reproductive trauma, substance use during pregnancy, and adjustment to health conditions.
With over a decade of clinical experience and a deep commitment to supporting individuals through complex emotional and medical journeys, she provides therapy that is culturally informed, trauma-responsive, scientifically grounded, and deeply human.

Third-Party Reproductive Consultations and Evaluations
Grounded in the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) guidelines, I provide psychological consultations and evaluations for individuals and couples pursuing family building through gamete donation or gestational surrogacy. Family looks different for everyone, and it is my privilege to support each unique journey toward parenthood.If you are seeking third-party consultation services, Dr. McKinney works in collaboration with partners (in)fertility.
Pre-Surgical Evaluations
Bariatric surgery is a life-changing medical intervention. Surgeons frequently request that patients complete a psychological evaluation to assess readiness and suitability. My approach centers on understanding each individual’s strengths, motivations, and support systems to help prepare for successful long-term outcomes.

Initial Intake Evaluation (60 minutes): $275
Psychotherapy Session (60 minutes): $225
Private pay only; insurance is not accepted.
A superbill can be provided upon request, which you may submit to your insurance company for potential partial or full reimbursement.A small number of slots for sliding scale fee clients.

If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please notify the office at least 48 business hours in advance via phone or email.
Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice—or missed without notice—will be subject to a $150 late cancellation/no-show fee.
